Valda Napurrurla Shannon Warntaparri is a Walpiri/Warumungu woman. She is an Accredited Interpreter and speaks fluent Warlpiri and Warumungu. She understands several Aboriginal languages and dialects across Central Australia and is a highly sought after Interpreter, currently working for the Northern Territory Aboriginal Interpreter Service.
Valda has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aboriginal Community Management and Development from Curtin University (2000), a Bachelor of Arts and Education from Deakin University (1987) and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
